High School Musical on Stage

High School Musical on Stage is a theatrical adaptation of the hugely popular 2006 Disney Channel film, following the story of Troy Bolton, a basketball team captain, and Gabriella Montez, an academically gifted student who meet and unexpectedly perform karaoke together during a winter vacation. When they reconnect at East High School and audition together for the school musical, their decision to cross traditional social boundaries—between jocks, brainiacs, thespians, and skaters—creates tension and disruption amongst their peers and friends.
