The Producers

The Producers is a musical comedy about Max Bialystock, a down-on-his-luck Broadway producer, and Leo Bloom, his anxious new accountant, who discover a scheme to make more money from a flop than from a hit. They set out to oversell interests in a deliberately awful show, expecting it to fail quickly and leave them with the proceeds.
