I Am Harvey Milk

I Am Harvey Milk is a theatrical oratorio by Andrew Lippa that traces the life and legacy of Harvey Milk, the first openly gay elected official in California. Premiered in 2013 by the San Francisco Gay Men's Chorus, it combines choral writing, soloists and orchestral forces to follow Milk from boyhood through his rise as a political leader and civil rights advocate.
