It's a Bird... It's a Plane... It's Superman

"It's a Bird... It's a Plane... It's Superman" is a 1966 musical by Charles Strouse and Lee Adams that turns the Superman comic-book myth into a stage story set in Metropolis. Superman faces threats from the scientist Dr. Abner Sedgwick and the sharp-tongued columnist Max Mencken, while the Daily Planet’s Lois Lane remains caught up in the heroics and romantic complications swirling around Clark Kent and his secret identity.
