Einstein on the Beach

Einstein on the Beach is Philip Glass and Robert Wilson's landmark avant-garde stage work, shaped as four acts framed by five Knee Plays. Rather than telling a conventional story, it presents Albert Einstein through recurring images and movements, with Train, Trial, and Field/Spaceship scenes unfolding as a sequence of abstract tableaux.
