The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind

Based on William Kamkwamba’s memoir and the film adaptation, The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind is a new musical about a 13-year-old boy in drought-stricken Malawi who refuses to accept the limits placed on him. When hardship threatens his family and village, he begins to experiment with salvaged parts and makeshift ideas, setting out to build a windmill that could bring power, and perhaps a way forward, to his community.
