Music & Lyrics Alberto Jiménez·Book Javier Ambrossi, Javier Calvo
La llamada is a Spanish musical comedy written and directed by Javier Ambrossi and Javier Calvo, with original songs by Alberto Jiménez alongside songs by Whitney Houston and Presuntos Implicados and religious numbers, with a small live band. In August 2013, at La Brújula, a Christian summer camp in Segovia, teenage friends María and Susana dream of success with their reggaeton and electro-latino duo, Suma Latina. The camp is run by Bernarda, a modern nun who wants to save it with her song, and Milagros, a doubting novice. When God starts appearing to María at night, singing Whitney Houston, all their lives begin to change.
