Meet John Doe

Set during the Depression, Meet John Doe is a musical adaptation of Frank Capra's film about a fake letter that becomes a national sensation. When reporter Ann Mitchell prints a message from a supposed ordinary man named John Doe, the newspaper hires drifter John Willoughby to stand in for the invented figure and help sell the story.
