Hairspray

Hairspray is a musical set in 1962 Baltimore, where Tracy Turnblad, a lively teenager with a dream of dancing on The Corny Collins Show, unexpectedly finds herself in the spotlight. As Tracy rises to local fame, she becomes drawn into the struggle to open the programme to Black performers, putting her at the centre of a wider push for change.
