Daniel's Husband

Their living room is the picture of a settled life: polished, comfortable and arranged around a deep sofa, where Daniel, the architect who restored the house, and Mitchell, a novelist, entertain their friends. Over dinner, in soft pastels, Mitchell's agent Barry and Barry's young boyfriend Trip watch a familiar quarrel flare, because Daniel wants a wedding and Mitchell wants no part of marriage. Then a sudden emergency makes the argument urgent, and Daniel's mother, Lydia, steps in.
