The Queen of Versailles

The Queen of Versailles is a musical adaptation of Lauren Greenfield's 2012 documentary about Jacqueline Siegel and her billionaire husband, David, as they pursue the dream of building a vast private home in Florida inspired by the Palace of Versailles. Stephen Schwartz's score and Lindsey Ferrentino's book turn the story into a portrait of ambition, luxury and the pressures behind an apparently glittering life.
