The Drowsy Chaperone

The Drowsy Chaperone is a Canadian musical that lovingly parodies the frothy conventions of 1920s Broadway, with book and score by Lisa Lambert and Greg Morrison. It centres on the Man in Chair, a lonely theatre obsessive who plays a cast recording of a fictional 1928 musical in his apartment and, in imagination, brings the show to life around him.
