The Constant Wife

Behind the clean lines of a Harley Street house, all pale walls and Jazz Age calm, Constance Middleton knows something everyone around her is trying to hide. Her husband John, a fashionable surgeon, is having an affair with her best friend Marie-Louise. Her mother, her sister and an old admirer back from abroad all have views on what a wife should do, and Constance has ideas of her own about love, money and freedom.
