Sting

Ash turns up for her first day as an archive assistant straight from a night out, to the dismay of her new boss, Lily. Their job is to research women accused of witchcraft and killed in the late 17th century, but the old cases take on a new urgency when the pair are drawn into a live police investigation into the deaths of three women. Ash's boyfriend Dom, a police officer, casts himself as her protector, yet he resents her growing interest in the work and the closeness between the two women, and Lily begins to sense that something is wrong, with Ash or with Dom.
