Set in 1930s Germany, Good follows John Halder, a decent, intellectually minded professor whose private compromises slowly pull him into the machinery of Nazism. As his choices begin to carry wider consequences, the play becomes a disturbing study of moral drift, self-justification and the ease with which ordinary lives can be reshaped by political extremism.
