Rudolf

Vienna, the late 1880s. At a glittering court celebration, Crown Prince Rudolf, heir to the Austro-Hungarian throne, meets the young Baroness Mary Vetsera. He is unhappy in his marriage to Princess Stephanie and in constant conflict with his father, Emperor Franz Joseph, and Rudolf secretly writes radical newspaper articles under the name Julius Felix, while the prime minister, Count Taaffe, schemes to expose him. As Rudolf and Mary grow closer, the pressure from the palace grows too.
