The Sleeping Beauty

At a baroque court of black, gold and deep red, the King and Queen celebrate the christening of their daughter Aurora. The wicked fairy Carabosse, left off the guest list, curses the baby to prick her finger and die. The Lilac Fairy softens the spell into a sleep of a hundred years, and when the grown princess finds a spindle at her birthday celebrations, the court falls still while the Lilac Fairy waits to lead Prince Florimund to her.
