Slam Frank

A very earnest, very progressive regional theatre company decides to retell the story of Anne Frank as a hip-hop musical, recasting her as Anita Franco, a pansexual Latina, and Peter van Daan as a non-binary dancer. Introduced by the company's artistic director, the show-within-the-show follows the families in hiding through rap numbers, heartfelt messages and ever bolder creative choices.
