Bugsy Malone

Bugsy Malone is a playful musical set in 1920s New York, where an ensemble of children play gangsters, showgirls and clubland regulars. At the centre is Bugsy, a good-natured small-time operator who is drawn into the rivalry between Fat Sam and his enemy Dandy Dan, with their feud fought using custard-firing "splurge guns" rather than real weapons.
