Oleanna

In a grand university office whose tall blinds rise and fall between scenes, John, a professor about to win tenure and buy a new house, is interrupted by Carol, a student who cannot follow his course and fears she is failing. Over three meetings their private conversation becomes the subject of a formal complaint, and a fight over who gets to say what really happened in that room.
