Mother Russia

A new Russia is being born and two young friends mean to profit from it. Evgeny and Dmitri dream of cushy government jobs in the early 1990s and take on surveillance work. Their first target is Katya, a sharp young woman with a complicated past in the West, and Evgeny falls for her while listening in on everything she says.
