The Taming of The Shrew

William Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew is a comic play of courtship, disguise, and stubborn pride, believed to have been written between 1590 and 1592. At its centre is the lively, combative relationship between Petruchio and Katherina (Kate), whose wit and temper make her an unwilling match for the schemes around her.
