A Face in the Crowd

A Face in the Crowd is a musical adaptation of Budd Schulberg's story and 1957 film, with music and lyrics by Elvis Costello and a book by Sarah Ruhl. Set in the early days of radio and television, it follows producer Marcia Jeffries as she discovers Lonesome Rhodes, a drifter whose easy charm and rough-edged wit quickly make him a broadcast sensation.
