Book Moisés Kaufman and Amanda Gronich
An archivist at the United States Holocaust Memorial Museum opens a package from a retired American intelligence officer and finds an album of photographs taken at Auschwitz. They show no prisoners, only SS officers and the young women who worked for them, singing, lounging and eating bowls of blueberries at a mountain retreat. As the museum's team works out who these people were, the album makes headlines, and descendants of the men in the pictures come forward to face what their families did.
