In New York in the middle of the 1960s, Dorothy Kilgallen, a celebrated journalist and television star, is chasing the biggest story of her career. America has been given its answers about the deaths of Marilyn Monroe, John F. Kennedy and Lee Harvey Oswald, but Dorothy does not believe them. Her investigation leads from Hollywood to the White House and the New Orleans underworld, towards a web of connections between powerful and dangerous people. Someone wants her to stop asking questions, and the threats are moving closer to home.
