Muriel's Wedding The Musical adapts P. J. Hogan's beloved Australian film, centring on socially awkward Muriel Heslop and her longing to escape small-town life through the dream of a glamorous wedding and the world of ABBA. When she leaves for Sydney with her best friend Rhonda, the story follows Muriel's comic and sometimes painful search for identity, friendship and a life that feels truly her own.
