The Worst Witch

At Miss Cackle's Academy for Witches, the pupils are putting on a show about the most unlikely witch the school has ever had. Mildred Hubble is an ordinary girl who tumbles into the Academy by mistake and, with her loyal friend Maud, fights to keep her place through botched spells and broomstick crashes, while spiteful Ethel Hallow tries to spoil her fun and the stern Miss Hardbroom disapproves of everything. Then an old enemy returns: Agatha, the headmistress's wicked sister, with a plan for revenge that threatens the school and the wider world.
