Dead Outlaw

Dead Outlaw is a darkly comic musical based on the true story of Elmer McCurdy, a failed outlaw whose life of petty crime and violence ends in a botched shootout, only for his body to begin an entirely stranger second act. Told with an Americana-flavoured score, the show follows how McCurdy is turned into a travelling curiosity, passing through the hands of showmen, collectors and entertainers until he becomes a kind of accidental celebrity.
