The 2026 Tony nominees are in.

The Lost Boys and Schmigadoon! tied for the lead with 12 nominations each, with Ragtime close behind on 11. The 79th Tony Awards ceremony airs Sunday 7 June from Radio City Music Hall, with Pink hosting.

History was made in the acting categories. June Squibb, 96, becomes the oldest acting nominee in Tony history. Danny Burstein lands a record ninth career nomination — the most ever for a male performer. Rose Byrne earns her first Tony nod, joining a 17-strong club of women with Tony and Oscar acting nominations in the same calendar year.

Death of a Salesman picked up nine nominations, marking Scott Rudin's Broadway return after stepping back in 2021. The night's most-talked-about omission: Lea Michele, widely tipped for Chess, was passed over.
